FitBoi Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 September 2026

FitBoi is an independently developed workout planner. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes.

What FitBoi stores

Your profile (goal, experience, equipment, bodyweight), your workouts (exercises, sets, weights, reps, effort ratings), daily check-ins (sleep, soreness), bodyweight entries and achievements.

Where it is stored

On your device, and in your own private iCloud database (CloudKit) if you are signed in to iCloud. We do not run servers that store your data and we cannot access your iCloud data. Deleting the app’s data in Settings → Data → “Erase all my data” removes it from the device and from iCloud.

AI coaching (FitBoi Pro)

When you subscribe to Pro, the app sends a summary of your training data — recovery estimates, recent sessions, today’s plan, effort ratings and check-ins — to Anthropic’s Claude API through a relay we operate, in order to generate your session brief and debrief. This data is used only to produce that response and is subject to Anthropic’s privacy policy. No name, email or account identifier is sent; requests carry an anonymous per-device identifier used solely for rate limiting.

What we do not do

No accounts, no advertising, no tracking, no analytics SDKs, no selling or sharing of data with third parties.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.

Imports

CSV files you import from other apps are read on the device only.
